Kayla Henry
Unit Manager

Kayla Henry serves as a Unit Manager at the Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. She holds an associate degree in nursing and a degree in Human Resources. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing, with an anticipated graduation in early 2027. Prior to her nursing career, she spent seven years working for a government contracting company, advancing from a personal assistant to the Director of HR. Her decision to transition into healthcare was deeply influenced by her experience caring for her grandparents, which helped her find her purpose. Her long-term career goal is to become a Director of Nursing (DON). Kayla finds her work rewarding because it allows her to make a meaningful difference beyond medical needs by building trust, providing comfort, and supporting both patients and their families through their life journeys. Kayla is married to a 22-year Army veteran and is a mother to six children. In her limited spare time, she enjoys "boot scootin'" with her husband, working out, supporting her children's endeavors, and shopping. She is motivated by her faith, family, and a sense of gratitude for her life and career.
